Carlos Honore’ is an advocate for at-risk student athletes. Born into a family challenged with drug abuse and poverty, Carlos excelled through positive sports experiences. He has dedicated his life to creating supportive systems for disadvantaged students and speaking about the relationship between systems and cultural differences. Carlos holds nothing back when sharing his personal story and he draws parallels between systemic changes and individual action. His audiences include school personnel, community leaders and activists, and students. His talks are inspiring, gritty, and will move you to tears and to action.
